01Our policy
Syren respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of alleged infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512) and the EU Digital Services Act. Repeat infringers lose access to the Service.
02Filing a notice
Use the Report link on the content with the reason "Copyright", or write to our designated agent. A valid notice includes: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the work claimed to be infringed; the exact location of the infringing material; your contact details; a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorised; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.

04Our response
We review complete notices promptly, remove or disable access to the material identified and inform the creator concerned.
05Counter notice
A creator who believes material was removed by mistake may send a counter notice to the designated agent with the elements required by 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3). Unless the claimant informs us within 10 to 14 business days that court action has been filed, the material may be restored.
06Misrepresentation
Knowingly false notices or counter notices may create liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).
